Healthy Digestion with Aloe Vera!

Healthy Digestion with Aloe Vera!

By Karen Masterson Koch

Aloe Vera is an ancient plant that has become the most popular “foundational” herbal plant of the 21st century. Research has shown a quality Aloe Vera (not over processed) supports the body’s health in multiple pathways, due to its over 100 plant actives; including energy, immunity, skin health and digestion. Many people still think skin for Aloe application and it does work like no other herb for troubled skin to beautify. However, drinking Aloe Vera is 100% safe for kids and adults. Or, take the tablets if you prefer. Tablets are great for travel!

Statistics Report 90% of the Population has concern about Digestion

Problems with digestion are sometimes obvious with heartburn, bloating, gas or pain. Yet for many, it is silent and the outcome is failing health; slow growth for children, allergies, fatigue, low functioning immunity, auto-immune, blood sugar, bruising, scoliosis, bone loss, troubled skin, dental and gum disease and even mental illness. Pharmaceutical drugs tend to only mask the symptoms, when the true problem is generally poor under-functioning digestion, along with food abuse.

Facts on Digestion

*Most people do not digest their foods and or beverages very well. Food abuse is
rampant with people eating high inflammatory and devitalized foods that do not
build a healthy body, such as milk, sugar, *whole grains and fried foods.
Examples are Ice cream and pizza. Both are top sellers in main stream grocery
stores.

*Gluten has caused major digestive issues and disease to develop and is found
higher in whole grains, including oatmeal and brown rice. Best to include in
meals are red potatoes, yams, beans and low gluten grains (especially important
with digestive issues and failing health).

*Infants, babies and toddlers have an undeveloped gastrointestinal (GI) tract.
Generally, it is best to start off with mother’s milk. The health and heredity of the
mother and father will determine how vibrant the child’s digestive tract and
overall health becomes.

*Seniors often have a low functioning metabolism with low stomach hydrochloric
acid (HCL), attributed to a poor diet and too many pharmaceutical drugs,
including antibiotics that rob the body of nutrients (causing a further reduction
of gastric juices) and destroy friendly bacteria (probiotics) required in the G.I.
tract for health.

*Also, one in six people today are living with advanced bowel disease, which
greatly reduces absorption of valuable food nutrients while millions more live
with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and experience heart burn, ulcers, reflux,
bloating, gas, constipation, diarrhea and often diverticulitis.

Three Steps — Health Requires Nutrition & Healthy Digestion to Absorb the Nutrients plus Basics

Tuft’s University has proved in their 30-year Healthy Aging Study that the body is like a machine that runs on nutrition from foods and supplements. Nutrition is critical to reverse disease and support body health. They also pinpointed the need to have improved digestion. Seniors, in particular, were very low in HCL which is required in the stomach to digest food properly.

1. Add Digestive SupplementsDrink quality Aloe Vera or take a tablet before
meals and take companion products, probiotics and Liquid Silver, for two
months to detox. Then only take those occasionally, as needed. Enzymes are not
required when metabolism is functioning again. Apple cider vinegar helps only
minimally and will not give the full coverage of Aloe Vera.

2. Cover the Basics — Drink an 8 oz. glass of water in-between meals four times
per day. Refrain from ice cold beverages at mealtimes and chew your food
before swallowing to allow the gastric juices to flow.

3. Supply the Body with Nutrients — Eat a variety of healthy foods including
proteins, vegetables and a few fruits. Avoid sugar, whole grains and fried foods.
Take basic supplements including B-Complex, Vitamin E, Multiple Vitamin &
Mineral, Omega 3s and others, as tolerated.

Why does Aloe Vera work?

A quality Aloe Vera gives quick results, especially if you start with the best therapeutic pick. Read the labels and choose the one that states “not overheated, over filtered or diluted” and if possible, from the whole leaf Aloe Vera juice concentrate, to get the best buy.

  • Ancients classed whole leaf Aloe Vera as an Herbal Bitter (dark yellow sap color)which stimulates HCL and all other digestive gastric juices to flow properly in the mouth, stomach, small intestine, gallbladder and liver.
  • A Linus Pauling Institute human study resulted in 50% better absorption of protein at meals when a whole leaf Aloe Vera juice was ingested before the meal and improved pH balancing which reduces C. Albicans (yeast) very significantly to improve digestion.
  • A University of Pennsylvania, Scranton human study resulted in 200% improved absorption of Vitamin C and almost 300% better absorption of Vitamin E into plasma, plus enhanced Vitamin B12 absorption that supports body wellness.

There are hundreds of Aloe products to choose from and most leave the customer wishing for results. Use the best, make a few dietary improvements and you will see how FUN improving digestion can truly be…Enjoy!
